As a retired teacher, I now get to devote more time to my writing avocation. That said, no teacher fully retires. This explains why some of my posts focus on teaching ideas, the kind you can use in the classroom if you are a teacher or in your own practice if you, like me, enjoy the lifetime challenge of crafting good writing.
Poems of mine have appeared in The Writer’s Almanac with Garrison Keillor, Verse Daily, Plainsongs, Gray’s Sporting Journal, Off the Coast, Spillway, Slant, The MacGuffin, and numerous other journals and e-zines.
My most recent poetry collection, Lost Sherpa of Happiness (2017), was released by Kelsay Books (book form only), and my first collection, The Indifferent World, was published by Future Cycle Press in 2016 (book form or, for $3, e-book format).
Both books are available by following the links to that little Mom & Pop store on Internet Boulevard: Amazon dot com, as well as from Barnes & Ignoble and other online book sellers.
